Welcome:)
My name is Ivy Woo*, I’m a PhD student in cryptography at the Crypto Group at Aalto University, Finland since July 2022. My research focuses primarily on cryptographic constructions over lattices. More generally I’m interested in algebraic constructions of cryptographic primitives, and am amazed by the beauty of how mathematics and computationally hard problems together can give rise to the many interesting tools that may improve the world.
Other than cryptography, I was involved in projects on anonymous transactions and decentralised anonymous systems. Before I stepped into crypto, I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s degrees majoring in actuarial science from The University of Hong Kong and Ulm University respectively.
In Profile you find my (still young but gradually growing) academic profile.
In About Me you can know more about me outside of work.
*The initials K. Y. stand for my Cantonese name, skip or include both of them — having one but not the other is illegal.
